Nitrogen Generator System

Working Principle

A nitrogen generator operates based on the principle of Pressure Swing Adsorption (PSA), using high-quality carbon molecular sieves as the adsorbent to extract nitrogen from air under a certain pressure.

The purified and dried compressed air enters the adsorption towers, where it undergoes pressurized adsorption and depressurized desorption. Due to the difference in diffusion rates within the micro-pores of the carbon molecular sieve, where oxygen diffuses much faster than nitrogen, oxygen is preferentially adsorbed, allowing nitrogen to be enriched in the gas phase and collected as the final product.

Once the pressure is reduced to atmospheric level, the adsorbed oxygen and other impurities are released, regenerating the adsorbent to be reused. Typically, the system is equipped with two adsorption towers: one for adsorption and nitrogen production, and the other for desorption and regeneration. A PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) manages the opening and closing of pneumatic valves, enabling the two towers to alternate in a continuous cycle, ensuring a stable supply of high-purity nitrogen.

Key Features

  • Our nitrogen generator extracts nitrogen directly from the air. Just connect compressed air and power—no additional raw materials are needed. The system is energy-efficient and cost-effective to operate.
  • Easily set your desired nitrogen purity level, giving you flexibility for various applications.
  • Designed for convenience, the system starts up quickly and runs automatically.
  • With a simple process flow and compact footprint, the nitrogen generator fits easily into any workspace. It’s ideal for facilities with limited installation space.
  • We use advanced filling technology to load the molecular sieve. This prevents damage from high-pressure airflow, ensuring long-lasting performance and reduced maintenance.
  • The integrated digital flow meter tracks both real-time and total nitrogen flow, giving you complete control over gas output.
